For most newcomers it is best to think of the game as a game of shoot em up. The main difference being, you tag a player with a laser, shot from a gun and then their gun won't shoot for a few seconds.
For your experience at Zone Empire your game will be played in a fluorescent three level arena, famous for losing people in its tricky corridors! Music is pounding into the arena and your enemy are everywhere !. To play the game you wear a special vest with a "phasor" (a futuristic looking gun) attached. The game itself can be played as either a solo free-for-all, or as a strategic team game. We have heaps of game scenarios.
The objective of the game, is to use your phasor to shoot your enemy to accumulate the most amount of points. You can also attack your opponents home base, which will give you bonus points, and maybe even a unique ability. Once deactivated, your pack will be unable to shoot, or be shot for a few seconds. The vest that you wear in the game has five tag zones; the front (worth 200 points), the back (worth 100 points), the left and right shoulders (worth 50 points) and the phasor (also worth 50 points). There are three different colours for the vests, representing three different teams, and there are multiple vests per colour. Each teams home base is worth 2000 bonus points, but once destroyed the base cannot be attacked again by the destroyer.
